Selene is the major moon orbiting Hillys, an inhabited planet in System 4. Its surface consists mainly of impact craters, rocks and fluids. Its surface gravity appears to be similar to that of Hillys, and it is the only other known celestial body in the system where oxygen gas occurs, though no nitrogen or hydrogen gases are found there.
On the moon, the Alpha Section stationed a transmitter to broadcast their propaganda to Hillys.

Heading to the moon[]
Selene can only be reached by the use of a ship that is geared with a stellar-motor. Mammago Garage has one in stock, though it is not entirely 'new'.
Trivia[]
- Oxygen apparently occurs on Selene, this is evident not only by the fact that Jade and companions can breathe when outside of the Beluga (even when the shield is offline) but also because sound can be heard; sound travels through atoms (oxygen-atoms), which will vibrate and thus create sound.
- In Greek mythology, Selene is the goddess/personification of the Moon, as well as being the source for the contemporary Greek name for earth's Moon.
