Description[]
The hairy butterfly caterpillar is a rare species that can only be found on Black Isle. In order to find it, Jade must take a diverting path from the mine shaft's entrance and use Pey'j's wrench to open a grid. It lives in high places and rarely goes out of its territory, making it quite an elusive animal.
This caterpillar is roughly about a human adult's height and size, though they are usually known to be slightly smaller. Its body is entirely purple with strands of hair sprouting out of its back, and its two globulous eyes are a bright pink. This creature doesn't appear to go through metamorphosis since its butterfly equivalent is inexistent on Hillys.

- It closely resembles the caterpillars of the same genus found on Earth.
